Man arrested in deadly Richmond stabbing

A man has been arrested in connection to a deadly stabbing that took place Saturday night.

Police responded to a “suspicious situation” call at 9:12 p.m., and then found Robert Pulling, 54, of Richmond with multiple stab wounds at the scene on the 2500 block of Melbourne Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Richmond police arrested 42 year old Kevin Rice. He was arrested for failure to appear and charged with robbery in relation to the stabbing. Police say additional charges are pending.

The Medical Examiner is working to determine the cause and manner of death.
